Family life Introduction

   At 22 years old I am married with an 8 year old bonus daughter, 3 year old and 2 year old daughters and a 9 month old son. My husband and I have been married since July of 2015 and our life has been an adventure since.
   We have always wanted a big family and we're blessed to have 4 wonderful children. All 4 of them are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
-Hannah (age 8) is our lover of cats and pink. She is both an extrovert and introvert, it just depends on her attitude that day. Once one gets to know her she is super bubbly and full of questions! She loves to learn new things and learn about the world around her. Plus she definitely has a talent for art.
-Leah (age 3) is our musician. She adores all things music. She is also the one that looks after her sisters and brother. She enjoys playing with her siblings most. She is always wanting to learn and do with things with you.
-Railee (age 2) is our foodie. She loves to eat. She wants to be in the kitchen while the meals are being made. She is also the girly girl that plays dress up and with baby dolls. She is a ball of fire though. This 2 year old has more attitude than I've ever seen! Don't make her mad!
-Ryker (age 9 months) is our sweet, curious baby boy. He is crawling and cruising. He is now at the age of getting into EVERYTHING! He is the happiest child you have ever met. He loves to laugh and smile at anyone which talks to him. He is also a huge flirt. Lord knows, he'll be a handful all his own!
My husband and I couldn't ask for anything more. Our family is definitely an adventure all its own. Things can be a bit chaotic around here but there's always a story to tell!

This isn’t me

         I didn’t ask for this, I didn’t ask to think this way or feel this way. Believe me when I say I don’t want to be this way. I don’t want to feel sad or anxious, because this is not who I am. I can’t help it, it just happens, sometimes for no reason at all. For me it’s not the kind where I want to lay around all day. I still get up to deal with everything the day has. I don’t want to be shut away from others, I dont want to be secluded, my depression doesn’t always work that way. Though I also don’t want anyone to see me like this. Sometimes I just need a significant change of scenery. Sometimes I need a chance to get away from the suffocation of every day life. Please understand, not all depression makes you push people away. Not all depression makes you seclude yourself. Depression is different for everyone. Nobody wants to be in this deep dark hole that is depression. We do fight, we just don’t always win. Life's little moments

   They say we are only given one life so we need to give it our best shot. As parents, we try to give our children the best life we possibly can even though that's not always the easiest thing to do. There are moments where we sit back and question "Are we doing the right thing", "Is this the right decision for my family", "What could I do differently to make their life better", "Are we teaching them right", "what are they going to be like when they grew up?" All these questions parents ask themselves everyday trying to do the best for their family. There many times where I sit back and wonder if I'm doing right by my children.   There's little moments in life where you know that your children are going to be ok.
